With the product PICOFILM SPR-80 GLOSS IHG1 (7854) from the Label Facestock family, Sihl is introducing another sustainable product based on 90% PCR BOPET for the creation of high-quality product labels in the Food & Consumer Goods and A4 Cut Size application segments.

PICOFILM SPr-80 gloss IHG1 (7854) is a silver 80 μm Facestock film for water-based inkjet printing. It is ideally suited for high-quality product label applications. The front side has a glossy coating and is suitable for both dye and pigment inks. The coating enables fast drying and sharp-edged prints with high color brilliance and good water resistance.

The Sihl Facestock coatings in combination with the print-on-demand printing technology make it possible to produce exactly the amount of labels needed while meeting the personalization requirements of customers.

PICOFILM SPr-80 gloss IHG1 (7854) is based on a base film with 90% PCR (post-consumer recycled) content. With a total of 11 PCR-based films in the Facestock range, Sihl continues to play a key eingineering role, creating products and solutions that make the best possible use of available resources.
